Join us for a special ACE class panel to explore the topic of lament, as part of our Knowing How to Breathe: Discovering and Fostering a Praying Life class. All are welcome to attend, regardless of previous class attendance.

Learning How to Sing the Minor Key of Grace” invites us to rediscover a vital, often neglected dimension of the Christian life — honest, Godward sorrow. In this panel discussion, voices from Scripture, counseling, pastoral care, and hospital chaplaincy come together to help us understand what lament is, what it feels like, and why it matters. Together, we will name the common obstacles that keep us from lamenting and gently expose the ways we avoid bringing our pain before God. This class will show how lament is not a sign of weak faith, but a pathway to deeper trust and communion with Christ. Our hope is that you will leave not only understanding lament but feeling equipped and invited to practice it as a life-giving rhythm of prayer. View panelists.
