Come and celebrate with us all that the Lord has done at Capital Presbyterian Herndon over this second year. Meet us after the worship service for a tailgate-themed Birthday Sunday Lunch! We will provide chips, beverages, and paper products, see below what you can bring.

At our monthly Sunday potluck lunch, hang out after worship to enjoy a Summer Picnic and casual fellowship with friends new and old. All ages are welcome and encouraged!

Food To Bring

Families, singles and couples: Please bring the following 2 items based on the first letter of your last name as you are able: 

A-f:

•  Main Dish: Tailgate themed food such as hot dogs/brats, nachos, meatballs

AND

• Vegetable side: such as salad with dressing or cut-up veggies.

g-l:

• Side Dish: Creamy dips such as spinach artichoke, 7-layer, buffalo-chicken, potato salad, ambrosia salad.

AND

• Vegetable side: such as salad with dressing or cut-up veggies.

M-Z:

• Main Dish: sandwiches such as pinwheel, pulled pork, buffalo chicken.

AND

• Cut up fruit and ready to serve.

Food items can be dropped off before the service in the kitchen. Items can be warmed in the ovens during the service and moved afterwards and two fridges are available for items that need to remain cold. If you drop off an item, post-its will be available that say “Lunch” so volunteers know what to move after the service.
