It’s time to reconnect, meet other women and be encouraged to use your God given gifts in daily life!

Join the Board of Women for a refreshing morning of breakfast and fellowship as we explore our spiritual gifts and learn simple ways we can use them to serve others in witness to the Lord.  We will hear personal stories from women in our congregation opening our eyes to tangible ways to advance God’s kingdom – even with busy schedules.

As Women on a Mission, we are participating in a service project for our mission partner, Casa Chirilagua. Please consider bringing something from this suggested list (below) to help fill a school backpack for a child, provide baby items for a new family, or every-day household items for a family struggling to make ends meet.  We encourage you to shop local if you feel safe and comfortable doing so to support small businesses. Alternatively, you can send something directly to the church through this Amazon wish list.  

Set aside this time – you’ve earned it!  

We will be holding this event in person (capacity restrictions possible). There will be a virtual option if you wish to attend via zoom.

About Casa Chirilagua

We are a community of people “learning together to love our neighbors as ourselves” in a Latino neighborhood in Alexandria, Virginia. As a faith-based Christian 501(c)(3) non-profit with a small staff and over 100 volunteers, we serve alongside more than 100 families and their children (1st-12th grades) each week through our community programs.
