Nate Wagner

As Director of Shepherding and Community Groups, Nate works to cultivate the life of Christ in the life of the church both communally and individually. Nate grew up in Denver, CO with aspirations to play baseball as long as he could. This pursuit brought him to Grand Canyon University where Nate met the Lord through the faithful witness of a group of friends. The grace of Jesus filled the hole that baseball could never fill and re-oriented Nate’s life to one of seeking to help people.

For Nate, moving back to Colorado to complete an MA in Counseling from Colorado Christian University also included the profound joy of meeting Elizabeth, his wife, and moving with her to the DC area. Prior to completing a degree at RTS Washington and becoming a pastor, Nate worked as a counselor in various settings. Along the way, the Lord has blessed Nate and Elizabeth with three wonderful daughters, who fill their lives with rich joy.
